Politics:

I am SO tired of seeing the stupid ass Presidential Campaign ads. Like holy shit, we all know that both sides are twisting the truth to make the other look bad. Why should we have a leader that isn't gonna be truthful about a campaign? Are they gonna lie to foreign countries? Start a war? I just can't stand how they lie.

I honestly don't care who wins the election. Sure, Romney's too conservative for my liking, but he can't just make laws and pass them! IT has to go through Congress. He can't keep gay marriage illegal, and he can't make abortion illegal.

I like Obama. He has good values, and he means well. BUT. If hehas a second term, he needs to start working on the economy more! I wanna go back when I was little and gas was two dollars a gallon. I think Obama can do it, but he needs to stop procrastinating.

Religion:

I think there should be more Pagan and Wiccan festivals and stores. Sure, it's still feared and considered "a sin" to Christians and whatever else religion, but when I move out, I'm not gonna drive a hundred miles or use an online store to get my candles or whatever.

Honestly, if you go to a store run by someone who is following the path, they could help you more than an online consultant who doesn't know shit.

I love how it's becoming more of an accepted culture. I can just walk around with my pentacle necklace on and only get a few weird or dirty looks.

Agreed. Those are two things people feel strongly on and goes deeper than logic. But to toss in my penny for a thought anyways, once you get yourself into a circle of whatever belief you have you'll find what you're looking for much easier. They'll help you.

I don't really care much about US politics, since I'm Canadian, but I think Obama would be much better than Romney. I think he did the best he could with the mess of an economy he got from Bush. I disagree with nearly everything Romney stand for and I don't think he would be much better for the economy than Obama. Also, politicians will never be honest. It would be nice, but honest politicians don't win elections.

I don't think religion really has any place in society. Nothing good comes from religion, and all religions are equally illogical and incompatible with science. I can accept religion as long as it stays out of government, though.

Because people suck it up. Dirty advertising works, otherwise they wouldn't spend such ridiculous amounts of money on it. It sways voters in those key states that they need to win. And unless the majority of the voting population starts thinking more objectively (which is not going to happen), you can count on seeing those campaign ads in 2016, and 2020, and 2024, and 2028...

You should care. The decisions the president and Congress make can and probably will affect your life in some way. And even if Romney has his opponents in the House and Senate to block his policies, having a social conservative for president is still a step backwards. If Romney is elected, you can bet those issues will remain issues for another four years.

What's the president supposed to do about the price of a gallon of gas? Oil prices run on their own demented parameters. That's almost completely out of the President's control. The price of oil is the result of a lot of skepticism and paranoia, as well as basic supply and demand and international trade situations.

This recession goes much deeper than people realize. It's not entirely the government's doing and the government certainly won't be able to fix all of it, and I don't believe we should expect them to. Issues like income inequality and international competition require not just changes in government policy, but also in the structure of the economy itself. I believe it will happen eventually. It has to, really.

What makes wicca demonic? Pentagrams? Witchcraft? Lol we don't have shit to do with demons unless we're trying to repel them. It's actually one of the most peaceful religions out there.
