Scars...

Just wondering, but do you have scars? How big or prominent are they and how many?
I have scars, they are quite noticeable and not very big... I think theres 30 on last count.

I only have them on my thighs so they don't go noticed. About 10 or so quite wide, long and prominent then about 100 thinner ones all merged together. Since my skin is brown all the white/pinky scars show up very well.

I have tried counting them a couple of times but it's pretty impossible, however I do have a lot of scars. There's a few on my right wrist, and some on my left thigh. Most of them are on my left wrist and right thigh though. Also got some on my stomach, hips, lower legs, feet, upper arms, etc too.

The most obvious ones are obviously my right thigh and left wrist though, and well to me they're very noticable but what I've noticed from other people lately it doesn't seem to be the first thing they see. Most of them are pretty faded too.

The scars that I do still have are fading, when they weren't over a year old they were very noticeable - mainly because of the width they were and the deepness. However, as they are on my thigh they have now nearly fully faded. My arm scars are only noticeable when it's cold.

As my skin is very pale, when it's cold the scars turn purple, the only ones visible are 3 deep ones at the joint of the elbow on the underside of the arm. Some stomach scars are still there, other wise they've all pretty much faded.

In terms of numbers, only about 20% of all my self harm is still scarred/visible - I scar like a bitch.

Yes i have a lot of scars, about 100 on each thigh really varying in depth. Quite a few have gone white now, but still very visable. The ones on my wrist have faded now quite well, only a few really very visable. Under my arm is going to scar badly..

Either way yep lots of scars that arent going anywhere :/

I have some really bad ones one my sides, but just a couple, because I don't scar easily. There's a lot of really faded ones that are pretty visible, and a lot that are really hard to see. There's quite a few burn scars on my thighs and left arm, but most of those are faded.

The old scars on my thighs are finally starting to go completely they vary in age but the oldest are a year and ten months old. You used to be able to see them through really thick tights now you can only see them when i'm not wearing any tights at all. The scars on my arm are still definitely visible in particularly when in certain lights and colder places. But they have faded from what they used to be so much so I don't cover them now. I have other scars here and there but those were my main two places.

I USED to have like 15 scars. Now I only have about two or three noticeable ones left. One on the back of my hand, one on my forearm, and MAYBE one on my leg if it's still there. All the others faded :/ I miss them, they'd remind me what I was getting away from.

I have quite a few scars, though they are not really that noticeable unless you look closely. My skin is very pale, so they do become rather noticeable if it is cold (they turn purple, as I believe someone else mentioned) but it is not as bad as it could be I suppose.

I have a lot of scars all over such as chest, stomach etc, too many to count really. The most prominent ones are all over my chest, pink and very raised aswell as some prominent ones on arms and hips.
The oldest ones on my arms are very visible but not raised at all. So, yeah a lot of them.

The scars on my arm and wrist are pretty visible, but it's more like markings in my skin than scars as such. I think that's because that part of my arm has been cut over and over again. My oldest scars are 2 years old, but they're barely visible. Because of the nature of the scars they're impossible to count.

I have lots of much deeper scars on my thighs. Some are still bright red and some have faded too white, but all of them are still very visible :/ I think the last time I counted I had around 90 scars on my thighs.

I also have a few small scars on my stomach and hips, but these are barely noticable and will probably eventually completely fade.

i have some scars from when i first started like 5-6 years ago that are simi visable but most of my reacent scars have dissapred which is good but it makes me sad that they are gone ... .o.o

I have a few little ones here and there, but my most notable ones are on my left leg. I have eleven indentations in my skin from having an external fixator in 5th grade to repair two broken bones (a metal frame that holds poles through a broken bone). I also have a giant bruise on the back of my ankle because my first night in the hospital, they had made my cast much too tight, to the point where it hurt.

i have over 400 small scars on my legs, and about 50 deeper ones. on my arms i have a load of small ones too with about 20 big ones, and some really small ones of my stomach
