My favorite character of all the books I have read would have to bee Kahlan Amnel the mother confessor from The Sword of Truth series. She's just really awesome lol. I also like Will Herondale from the infernal devices he acts like a jerk (He has reasons) but he's actually verry nice and when I read these books I want to hug him lol.

I really like Hannibal Lector from that series. He is so intricate and has this mind that is so unique and extravagant. He's so admirably cultured and educated and I always percieved him to be fucking sexy as shit. Anthony Hopkins portrays him excellently.
Or I also like Theo Faron. From Children of Men. He's such a sad and depressed individual who is thrust into an extraordinary situation. I love him too. :P

Matty, from Messenger by Lois Lowry.
He is a lot like me in some ways, very curious about his village and can sometimes take a while to sense a problem but will understand soon and will fight against it more. Also a bit of a yes-person and loves animals.

Edmond Dantes, "The Count of Monte Cristo"
He's been betrayed. Hurt. Cast away. Rejected. Abandoned. He escapes his fate, though. Rises to the top, conquers the mountains he encounters. Then, he plans and waits. Plans the revenge he will have against those men who put him in prison. Who betrayed him. Intricately, he works everything out over years and years. Finally, his plans come to fruition. He succeeds. But, he succeeds too well. And innocent lives are taken as his revenge bears its fruit. And that gets to him. Breaks him. On his last victim he shows mercy, and goes to live his life, passing on the wealth, the power, the prestige of the Count of Monte Cristo to a friend who is dear to his heart. Then, he takes his leave, and vanishes.
