Migraines with aura

I need to talk to someone about this... but my girlfriend has had migraines with aura for Im not sure how many years now but Im gonna say 2 maybe... and she would normally only see the things of light or what ever a few times a year till 3 weeks ago that went to 5 times in 20 minutes! She got very scared, told her mom and she got a EEG and MRI done and were waiting on the results for that... but in the mean time hell Im more worried about it than her. If it only happened like a few times a year, I wouldnt worry to much about it but that it increased drastically in a day its scaring me and that theres something very wrong with her. I get migraines every month and they come when ever... and I dont know what triggers them so I cant help her figure out maybe why she had so many but hell Im scared for her abut it and Im not sure what to do.

There isn't much you can do till you get the results back, just wait it out and see if there's anything drastically wrong with her. The best thing you can do now is be there for her.

Aura's can be caused by a large variety of things, from more serious complications to just a person being more prone to them. I get migraines like this almost every day and it is just because I have a Wisdom Tooth that is caught around a nerve. Try not to panic until you get the results back and try to keep your girlfriend as relaxed as possible as stress can worson migraines.
