View Full Version : Losing strength and vision

I've had this problem for a while now (like two years actually) where I just all of a sudden start losing my vision - everything goes black - and just losing any strength I have, sometimes it's so bad that I have to actually lay down on the floor. It only lasts a few seconds, I'd say maybe at most 7, and it doesn't happen often, only once every two weeks or so. Rarer than that actually. Sometimes it happens a couple times a week but not very often.

I thought it might have something to do with how much I eat but there's days I don't eat anything and I'm fine and other days I eat piles of food and get weak. My grandma said it's because I get up from sitting/laying down too fast but it happens even when I'm just standing there not doing anything.

Has this happened to anyone else? I've never had any other problems before and it doesn't really bother me at all so I don't think it's something too serious but it would be nice to have some type of idea.

Something I completely forgot is: When it happens, my head starts to hurt. Not like a headache or a migraine but like if you were to imagine your brain going numb, then replace the numbness with a dull pain.

Do you think you are drinking enough water throughout the day? If you are, then go to a doctor. Those symptoms are not right.

I might not be. I, for some reason, really dislike water so I don't really drink it too much. I'm never dehydrated enough where I'm thirsty though.
