Favorite game.

Hey everyone, I have another question. What is your favorite game(s) ever? MMOs and flash games count. What platform do you play it on? Why is it your favorite?

Mine are:

Final Fantasy 10 and 13. Ps2 and Ps3. FF 10 was completely amazing for its time, and its still one of my favorites.

Mass Effect 3. Ps3. One of the better games ive played. Good mix of RPG, a great story, and a lot of combat.

Heavy Rain. I love a lot of games with good graphics and shooting, and all that good stuff, but Heavy Rain is the best game Ive ever played. A hell of a story, good graphics, and a lot of hard choices. Truly one of my top 3 games.

See my original post. But beyond that? I like sim games (but I hate the SIMS), strategy and RPGs are good, TPSs are great, games like Heavy Rain fucking rule, and Ive been known to play the occasional classic (Mario 64, Ocarina of Time, etc. etc.)

Let's see... Mario games, especially super Mario brothers games from the 80's, Mario Kart, and Super Mario 64
Call of Duty- All until MW3, probably Black Ops 2
Halo- Every single one except for ODST.
Tetris
Team Fortress 2, most anything made by Valve.
Pokemon- until Unova.
Borderlands
Fallout- 3. Probably 1,2, and NV.
Legend of Zelda. Especially from what I heard- a Link to the Past.
Kirby's pretty good.
Disgaea- Any game keeping original formula. Maybe altering it in good ways.
Final Fantasy- 4, 12
Lastly, Contact. This is a rare game to have in America. Not so rare and a hit in Japan. No announced sequel since the game's creation in 2006.

Well, 1. Would be a tie between Battlefield 3, just because it requires more thinking than COD (even though it's a good game too) Europa Universalis 3, Since it is one of the most realistic nation simulators EVER and it is super addicting, and Rome: Total War simply because even today it has an awesome atmosphere and just was so revolutionary back then.

Oblivion, FO:NV and MW3 would be behind, though I still like them a lot. And maybe Skyrim after that.
