Age Difference in Sex

I am 17 and I live in Canada. I was just wondering If it is legal for me to have sex with someone in their mid twenties. Not that I have that opportunity, I am just curious. Would it be stat rape or anything?

yess. age of consent is 16 and after that u can have sex with anyone. theres also something which allows 14 and 15 year olds to have sex with people who are within 5 years of their age. (not sure about this one)

Technicality yes, unless if the person is in a position of authority.

It depends on the state in the US. Every state has different laws about age of consent. I know here in Wisconsin it's 16.

yea forgot, if they are ur Teacher, Caregiver, Docter, Dentist Etc....
you have to be 20 years old :)

I thought that if you are 16 or over then you can with other 16 and 17 year old's but if it's with someone over 18 you must also be over 18. Once you are 18 your free to do what you want. That's what it is in Ontario.

seems it would but please be careful - just because its legal does not always make it right for you to have sex - I am not judging - just please take care if that means condoms and staying safe not letting people use you etc.
