My friend is hallucinating

If this is in the wrong place, sorry, and I put it here instead of the friends and family forum, as it would reach more people with similar problems

Today I met up with a long time friend, who used to be my bestfriend, we are still really close, and he told me he hallucinates, and that he's told his dad, but he lied to the doctors about it and refused to tell them and get him help for it.*

It's really not pleasant, and I really want to help him, is there anything he can do? Or I can do to help? He wants the help, his dad just will not allow it. Oh he is 14 by the way.

You know, there's not much you can really do other than maybe talk to his dad, and see if you can move him to allow it. Hallucinations could mean anything. It could be as simple as lacking in some sort of nutrient, vitamin or whatever....or something as strong as and onset of schizophrenia. I'm not suggesting it....but who knows.

He already has a lot of problems, and he takes all sorts of medication, and vitamin's and such:/

He didnt, his dad did, I think it was on the phone, so he couldnt say anything..
