Would you be pissed if a guy showed up for your first date wearing this shirt?

This recently happened to me and I'm not even sure how to react, he called me yesterday to ask for a second date and I hurried him off the phone without responding to his question.

He seems like a nice guy.....

Why are you bothered by his shirt, may I just ask?

I would not care about his clothes. The character is more important for me.

Nah. I would be complete opposite and say, "Hey awesome shirt! May I borrow it sometime?" XD (Superheros are awesome, but I'm weird like that.)
Anyways, if he seems like a nice guy and you like him, than you should go on a second date. I don't think clothes should decided that.

If it bothers you that much, that's your prerogative. You can give him another date if you'd like, but what you dislike is what you dislike. Nothing wrong with that.

Franky for me it depends on the setting. If we were going to the park I wouldn't care, but if my bf were to take me to a nice fancy lil restaurant wearing a hulk t-shirt, with camo pants and timberlands. I'd ask him nicely to take me to mcdonalds. But I'm low maintenance so I'd be just as pleased with fries and an angus burger as I would've some over priced spaghetti.

It wouldn't bother me if he wore it normally for just hanging out or whatever but if we were going on a special date it would bother me because I would expect him to dress nicer. But that's just me not everyone's the same.

I don't expect a guy to dress super nice or anything, but if it's a first date, I kind of hope he's going to dress a little nicer than normal. I know I'll dress super cute for him so I would hope he'd do the same for me.
After you go on a couple dates, then it doesn't really matter but first impressions are important.

Depends on his style and where you went. If you can be talked out of a second date just because you don't like his shirt, you didn't like him that much to begin with.

that particular shirt seems very immature.

Ah, I see your point. I guess it would depend on the type of situation you were in when he was wearing it. Like was it a fancy date or were you just hanging out, the shirt would bother me if it was a serious sort of situation. However, you could always tell him you didn't like what he was wearing, you said he's a nice guy so give him another chance and see what happens.
