i am at an all boys school but i would love to be able talk freely to girls but i belive i am a bit shy and have never gone to a school dance is this because of late development or should i just try somthing new:)

Late development has nothing to do with it mate.

You just need to be bold and brave. Theres not much advice i can give except just do it! :D

if you are using under development as an excuse you are just making barriers as to why you can't talk to girls. you just need to be confident. i know thats easier said then done, but if you don't have confidence and go and talk to them, then you will never have a girlfriend.

thats one bad thing about all boys/girls schools, you dont get the necesary social life that ca help you in later life to get a girlfriend

take a chance one day and go up to the girl you like and ask her out you never know what will happen.

all boys school...hmm... maby ask your parents if you can get out for a year or two, go to a normal school, meet some girls, its not slow devlopment...

As Crazy Sam said, it has nothing to do with late development. It's alright to be nervous around girls, as you dont want to seem foolish. What I do though, is be myself so I can get a girl that likes me for me! But, making a fool of myself REALLY helps me! All the girls think Im funny, and they usually love that.

And, going to an all boy school can stop boys from having a proper soical life. Ask your parents if you can switch just for a few years or something.

I have this problem too. I get do nervous and I feel like all the girls are making fun of me in their head. I am not really fat, but could stand to lose weight and I get so nervous that they laugh behind my back...

Yeah, I'm shy as well but sometimes you just have to not overthink things and do them. If you want to ask a girl out or for a dance, dont overthink it, in the words of NIKE, just do it. (Sorry about the corny joke. lol I couldn't resist.)
