Let's just say Im not a very social person and the idea of being around people (especially the popular kids in my class) makes me uncomfortable. My entire summer I've spent sitting in my room just being on the computer and ive barely talked to anyone outside my family.
Now Im starting 11th grade this year and worst of all my little brother is coming in as a freshman and he is way way cooler than me. I dont play sports or wear cool clothing or anything and well how can I get by this year without looking stupid in front of him?

If you're not very social and don't usually talk to people, most of the kids at your school probably don't pay much attention to you. So don't start attracting any attention now.
I'm a lot like you (going into grade 11, not very social, don't play sports/wear cool clothes, word for word as you described) minus the brother. If I had a brother I'd probably be a bit worried, but it wouldn't be any different from looking stupid in front of anyone else.

Lol, I'm not social either. Just because you're not social doesn't mean your lame or whatever. I mean, I feel like people just love to pick out the "weak" ones so as long as you don't show that you're shy or uncomfortable then it's fine.
I knew one kid who was shy as fuck and the entire year he'd wear a hoodie and wire his ipod up his shirt. No one thought he was shy or stupid, they just kinda assumed that he was just un-social.
Or you can do what my friend does and sleep in class. Stay up til 4am and pass out in class. That way, no one will talk to you since you're passed out and being sleep deprived, you'll probably not have the energy to feel uncomfortable and shy anyway. The downfall of this plan is that you'll have to make up for the information you missed later or you'll end up failing your classes.

Yeah i'm pretty shy too. I can't give you much advice but when I was in 5th grade I took this medication called Zoloft, it was for my depression but it also helped with my anxiety and I could talk to people and not be shy. I had to get off of it though because sometimes it gave me really bad mood swings, but you should see if your doctor can prescribe it to you, it could help you.
