I let it grow up until I was about 14 or 15 and then I started shaving it. I keep it pretty maintained and shaved for the most part. There's only been a couple times when I just let it grow.

90% of time is shaved ... so ... most of the time is shaved ..... the tricky part is the balls .. i really don't know how to shave them without bleeding!!

I trim, and that is my preference on boys. If you let it grow then it gets in the way and if you shave it then it looks like a child's. But that's just my preference.
