I can happily stand up, but I normally get tired legs because of so much adrenaline and testosterone going through my body... So I usually lie down because it's more comfortble :)

Yes, I tense my calves, I think it is involuntary but I clench my feet :P I have to clench them backwards instead so they don't lock up, but this only happens occasionally. Hope I helped.

The only time i stand is to shoot a huge load but i usually lay down because then i can shoot in on my stomach. Its a personal preference though.
