dont worry too much, they put you under so you cant feel it, and its not like theyre chopping it off. they just take a little skin off.

They freeze the foreskin so you dont feel it but u have to lay off j/o until it heals.
My cousin had phimosis and had to be done. He missed jo lots though.

Hey Aidan,
I'll start by letting you know that I'm a doctor.
The hypospadias repair will take a little while under anesthetic and you won't feel a thing. Depending on the severity of your hypospadias will relate to the length of the procedure. You may not necessarily have to get a circumcision but if the urologist has said that it needs to be done, then it's probably for the best. I can give u heaps more info if you wanna message me :)

If there is a medical reason for having this done - and there's no other way to reverse the medical condition - then it might be advisable. I suggest you speak to your Family Doctor and go over why you need this done, ratrher than here. Your doctor can advise you better than us, as He will know better about your condition as the Hospital will advise him of treatments you've undergone or examinations they've carried out. If its a religious reason, don't do it - even if the Rabbi or Mulah advises you to have it done. Reason being that your change of religion or coming "back into the fold" might be a transient one rather than a life-long decision.;)
