My mom just had me see if this belt fits and it dosn't but a week ago there was a scale at this resale shop and since I hadn't been weighed in a while I decided ot check my weight, it said 116.0 anyways i'm 14, and 5ft6, I'm very skinny yet I eat all day, is it normal to be this skinny with how much food I take in?
I'm just wondering if my metabolism is overly-high.

Well, that would appear to be the case...

This is not an eating disorder.
At best this would fit in VT General Hospital

A high-metabolism. Basically...the food you eat...the calories burn quicker than normally. I have a high-metabolism.

There are three types of body types. Ectomorph which is you have a fast metabolism and extremely skinny. Mesomorph where you have a perfect metabolism but can loose weight kinda fast, but can also gain weight kinda fast, but if you workout perfectly you stay the same perfect body. And Endomorph which is you have a slow metabolism and is very hard to loose weight, but extremely easy to gain weight.

I'm around 5' 6" also and maybe about 5-6 pounds more than you. Last physical I had the doctor said I was a healthy kid. So if I were you I wouldn't be worried. It's cool to be able to eat everything all the time. :)

There are some people who will eat and not gain much weight, as others have said. I know a kid who is 17, about your height, and only about 130 lbs. If your mom is really concerned she can take you to a doctor, but i think u do have a high metabolism.

I'm 5'10 and I just went to the weights and apparently I'm 8 stone which would mean I've lost 2 stone in a few months... I'm kind of a mix between ecto-meso I'm pretty athletic I'm a good sprinter but I've got some kind of super metabolism lmao... No matter how much I eat to try and gain weight I don't gain and it's even worse than the fact that I wake up so late I miss breakfast and lunch :P
SO it could be an error, or genuine metabolism.

I am super skinny as well! I'm only 95 lbs at 13 years and I eat a hell of a lot when I get the chance. It could be that I'm a vegetarian but I don't know if that will make a huge difference.

At your age it's prolly just high metabolism.
