To prevent an erection just think of something so utterly disgusting or scary. For example I use to the girl from the Exorcist and that always works.

It's perfectly normal!! It's just hormones, and the thought of anything sexual, can stimulate the erection. Thinkning of other things can help, but you shouldnt be too worried. Many guys fear the same thing, and, again, It's perfectly normal.

When you're 14 everything turns you on so it doesn't necessarily make you gay. Being gay is about having a loving emotional relationship with a guy, not because you're a hormonal teen (where practically anything sexual related can turn you on) getting an erection in the shower. I doubt you're gay.

Your anxiety is understandable here, but the great thing about anxiety in this instance is that it is an absolute killer for any type of sexual arousal at all. So, the fact that you're terified of getting wood in the shower will prevent it from happening.

I'd like to say it's because I'm veeeery smart (which might be true), but my Dad the Shrink always said that anxiety/nervousness kills any type of 'desire'. So there. From a real expert. And i gotta tell you, my dad is never wrong. So, if in his professional judgement you can't get aroused because you're too nervous, believe it. I would.

Well most people go through a curiosity stage where they find they have urges to experiment with the same sex. In puberty your hormones are all over the place so it's difficult to differentiate between genuine emotions and phases.
