You may be able to purchase a stolen one for £40. If you check Google (https://www.google.com/search?q=fix+red+ring+of+death) there are various ways to supposedly fix the Red Ring of Death but many are hoaxes and the one's that aren't still aren't too likely to work.

For less than £30? No, I don't think so. Xbox 360's are still in production, they won't lose their value that quickly.

Ha, what a joke. You can fix 360s that have had the RRoD, it's just going to void your warranty. Also, good luck finding one. They aren't going to be cheap. Maybe you can find an Arcade or something, but you'd have to buy an HDD later. I'd spend the money, go to a game store and buy a pre-owned one.

Yes, they can. My Xbox 360 got RRoD, although I was really pissed off, and for good reason, they fixed it for me, and shipped it free of charge to from the repair center to my house. It works perfectly now.
