Ear pain

So, at work, i'm near an ultrasound welding machine, and i have to use protective earplugs. And I inserted the left earplug to much, and now my left era hurts, mainly when i get up ans shower. Is it something normal, something i should worry about and see a doctor?

It could be an ear infection.

If you inserted the ear plug in too far then perhaps some damage has been done. Chances are this will be temporary. However I do suggest you go speak to the doctor as when it comes to your hearing I would not take any second chances. If it persists over the next few days or gets any worse I would suggest seeing your doctor.
