I was so proud of myself for telling someone, a friend of mine, she has anxiety and depression also, she has been on meds and was allowing me to let me get out my feelings of anxiety and how it's only bad during school and that it doesn't help how the kids act there, she went to the same school I did when she was younger, even her mom is on meds for her anxiety, and she told me that she was always home and if I ever needed to talk or anything to come over or call. It helped so much, but now, I feel like I'm going to to just use her for a dumpster of my feelings, almost as if I'm throwing my problems on her, making myself feel like a burden. I thought I was doing well, until I thought about it more..

It can seem that way but trust me, she wouldn't have offered if she didn't realise that it may turn out that way, and at the end of the day it helps both of you to talk to each other. Stop over thinking things and just go with the flow, it's easier that way and if you were a burden she'd tell you. I know I've been in that situation where I've had to tell someone enough is enough, they ended up appreciating it, so she'll probably do the same if she needs to. But she probably won't, and until she does don't worry about it, man.

I know exactly how you feel, it can really seem that way and you might think that she will get tired of you and that you're just dumping everything on her, but remember that she understands where you are right now and that she is offering to help you. Try not to psych yourself out about it, she means well and don't think you are being a burden to her at all. It is definitely to both of your benefits to talk to each other, so it is great that you have found someone who understands, so don't worry about it. Its a positive thing and I am sure she will let you know if it gets to be too much, which I can't imagine will happen. Hang in there, and try not to stress about it :)
