A small cut while shaving

Okay, I was shaving for the first time by myself and afterwards I noticed a small cut. It stopped bleeding but I put some rubbing alcohol on it and it stung. Then I held a tissue on it for a minute or so. Is there anything else I should do?

No, I think you're good. If you were just shaving your face, and you put the alcohol on it to disinfect it and the tissue. If it's not bleeding anymore, and if it doesn't look deep (which it shouldn't be deep) then I think you're good man.

This sounds stupid, but did you use shaving cream and were gentle? Too much pressure can cause nicks, but so can being too "flimsy' as I call it with the blade.

small nicks like that are very unlikely to develop any type of infection a simple wash with water and soap should do. You went the extra mile and put that on it but be careful using rubbing alcohol not all kinds are meant for cuts. follow the instructions from the guy above and i wont happen often. You'll get used too it. :)

Nah you're good. It stung because you put the alcohol over it, so that's obviously nothing to worry about. Nothing else needs to be done. I mean heck, one time I cut myself while shaving and just put tissue over it and let it bleed out.

Yep. It's okay, I asked my mom, which I didn't think to do at the time, she said it'd be fine. Lol.

To be honest, I don't see you bleeding out. I think your fine as the sounds of it, you have a small cut and nothing more.

Just try to ease up on the pressure and you might be able to get away with minimal cuts. However some are going to happen.

That's pretty much all you need to do. Just make sure you don't get an infection. Neosporin should help with that, and it won't sting like the alcohol did.
