OP?

So i was reading this thread and a moderator cOmmented "OP" and locked it. Im not questioning his judgement, mostly cuz i have noo idea what OP means. So question is, what does it mean?
Im sure its something obvious, but im not good at figuring these types of things out.

'OP' stands for 'Original Poster'.
Basically, the thread starter.
If a mod leaves an 'OP' comment in the thread before locking it, then that means that the OP requested to have their thread locked.

The thread may also be locked if the OP is banned, that's where you may also see it, too.
