I truly do believe that the american judicial system is extremely corrupt. My dad just told me that one of his lawyers told him to give them $8,000 and he'd walked and he walked. I'm pretty sure that's corruption and if it can do it for a DUI I'm pretty sure it can do it for anything. Anyone else's thoughts

It's always been corrupt. Police have always been payed off to look the other way and lawyers I'm sure have always done that.

What do you expect? We are one of the largest nations on Earth, Of course we are going to have a high judicial corruption rate. However, our political corruption is actually not that bad, even though Canada, Northern Europe and Australasia do A LOT better.

Saying anything in American politics, or any country's politics, is a gross under statement, my friend.

Because anyone that becomes a politician in the long run does it for the money, not the people. The ones who start out for the people eventually do it only for the money. Now somethings the judicial system does is reasonable, but ultimately it's corrupt. Take The Supreme Court for example. The majority of them have sold out to big business like the whole right wing, and the remaining 4 have no say, and if they do they sold out to benefit people on federal aid and entitlements. Nobody cares for the middle class anymore.

An average working man won't make it into office. They don't have the money for it. Money talks, hon. Money talks.

Not helping us, but it's helping the people in office. As a person I don't matter to them, and neither do you. Can we do anything about it? Nope. We could protest, and see how far that gets us. We could ignite a revolution. I doubt that would work. It's a downwards spiral, and honestly I don't have an answer for it. Everything in America is a bipartisan issue nowadays. You're either red or blue, but the only color that should matter in politics is green, because the money ain't there.

Wait wheres white at? you cant have red and blue without white and you sure as hell cant have green in there because it'll look like the Mexican flag...wait Obama is letting the Mexicans in. But aside from that true we cant do anything we only vote the person we think is the best in and that doesn't work out very well in the end because most of the campaign they lie so whats the point either the middle class gets fucked

Pretty much, it's just you pick the lesser of two evils. That's all it comes down to.

and who would be the lesser of the evil? neither because obama and romney want to charge the middle class more in taxes. and they will probably pay congress to get that through as fast as they can.

Money is the universal language. And if you have enough of it, everyone wants it to speak to them.

Typical neo-conservative "argument" with Obama mixed in for good measure. Moving on.

There are three branches to the government.
1. Executive
2. Legislative
3. Judicial
The government, at its core, is politics. Therefor, the branches of government are part of politics. Ergo, the judicial and justice system are politics.

As long as you aren't an arrogant prick, you're an alright kid Johnny. That is an A+ post, especially the first part.
Corruption is a fact of life, everybody wants to get ahead. Corruption speeds it up.

I could go on a huge ass rant with this, but I'll keep it short and sweet.
Fuck yea it's corrupt. I know a person who should've gotten charged with vehicular manslaughter. He got off with leaving the scene of the fucking crime. They didn't feel like having the full trial or some bullshit like that. It'd cost too much.
