My always told me I could tell her anything, and when I did tell her I was bi she was very shocked, but happy. I think your mother will be the same way :)

By 2012 this is an issue that became normal already. More for your´s mom´s generation, because she grew up with it.
I think that she will understand you more than you belive! Mybe a bit surprised but just it!
You are her daughter and she loves you all! I think that won´t be a problem. :)
