why does it say this when I post to visitor messages or my own?

Just wondering...does it say this for everyone?

That message means that before the VM is seen by the other person, a moderator must approve it. This is because you have not been for 3 months, and have 250 or more posts. Once you have that many posts, this message won't be displayed, and a moderator will not need to approve the messages for you anymore. You aren't in any kind of trouble, don't worry.

It does that for members with under 250 posts and have been here for under 3 months. To stop spam and inappropriate messages moderators have to check these messages before they're sent out.

It does this for me too. It is just so a moderator can review the message and if it it inappropriate or offensive then it can be removed to stop vandalism or trolling or what ever.
