Hey, i wrote this poem when my heart was smashed into a million pieces by this guy i like.

Tears of Wasted Love
I ask the guy
Who once held the key to my heart
Now he's given it back
I was once filled with life
Now all that’s left is sorrow & pain
I want to scream
To cry and get free
But I’m held by chains of & embarrassment
My heart is wounded
My soul punctured
The tears that flow from my eyes
Are not tears of joy?
But tears of wasted love

If this is based on a real experience then I feel for you. You were clearly hurt and it saddens me to hear that. Though on the positive side, you've made a beautiful poem out of a somewhat hard experience.
