there is lots of aspects to this but I always endevour to be kind and polite and I think its important to express love and happiness. I always hug my Mum and I dont mind her hugging me - Life is as good as we can make it and help others make thier lives bette too. Maybe weird but yes plants and animals are life as well

I think that luck plays such a huge role in determining how people start out and are whether they succeed/fail at life that we should judge ourselves on whether we lived up to our own potential, not on how we compare to others.

There's the one you're thinking of- I shouldn't waste the amazing opportunities I have, let me leave the most amazing mark I can since I'll never get another chance to make my history. When I'm dead that's it, I have to have done something I can look back on my deathbed and be proud of.

But there's the YOLOS we all know - The I don't care if this is my best friend's girlfriend, I'll have sex with her anyways. I'll plank on the railroads all I want, I can't waste my time. I don't care if there's a tornado coming, I'll be walking to the store. This is illegal to do? oh well, yolo!

My philosophy is that be proud of what you have ultimately achieved in life. Do something meaningful, be it to you or the whole world. Don't live with regrets, and be the best person you can be. Don't fall victim to the ideology of money brings happiness, it doesn't. You can be just as happy with little to know money as those who have unheard of amounts. Help others and be happy.

For me as a member of sentient species it is a challenge to understand the Universe and its fractalous nature. Although it seems like an impossible goal to understand the essence of reality, I take my chances.

In order to perceive, sense and experience all the negative and positive effects of life I'd like to live very long. I want to know what future holds. I want to see the evolution of human race. I want to understand all abstract mathematical and knowable physical properties of cosmos at all scales.

If I one day come to a point when my journey ends, or I decide to do so, I, realizing that it is an essential principle of all matter that we'd define as life in this universe, want to save the informational heritage of my own existence. Either as genes in the future generation, by producing healthy children with a beautiful lady with matching characteristics, or perhaps creating something that will last for ages in human history.

Perhaps I'd like to be immortal, timeless, all-knowing. Who knows what such level of existence holds, exept for the unity with the cosmos. Yeah, this might sound a little eccentric, but I'd really like to experience higher forms of existence, experience my own evolution.

So that's it. Life, no determined path. Just me, my decisions, chance and the actions of others. The purpose of life is existence. No one in his right mind could deny that. Whether it's existence of simply our consciousness, our body, or our loved ones, our children, our information, our legacy. Existence and the struggle for it with nature is all that life ever does and ever will do. From stardust atoms to boiling primordial pools of organic molecules we - life have prevailed because of our nature to battle entropy (disorder), to maintain stability, to maintain information, evolve and perceive reality.

I think life starts with the universe. A lot of people limit their thinking to just planet Earth. I don't think there is a meaning, or one truth, but if there is, it's source is the universe-- not planet Earth. We are not special. We are one tiny rock in a universe so huge we can't even comprehend it. We are nature. We do not know everything and will never know everything. We are not ultimate beings. We are not here for a purpose. We're simply a species inhabiting a rock racing along in the universe, and we have the amazing ability to be aware of ourselves and nobody seems to find that amazing. As a species, we are fucking stupid. Individually, we can be brilliant sometimes.

So yeah, there's no specific meaning. Your meaning is whatever you would like to accomplish while you're alive. To live a lifestyle that makes you content. We are aware of our existence, so we should take advantage of that.

I don't know, I kind of see life as a big scrapbook, and we're all trying to make memories for it. I try to be kind to others because I have no clue what they're going through/have been through, and I would hope others do that as well.
