So, if this doesn't go in the right section, I'm sorry.

Anyway, I have really bad nerve problems, anxiety, and paranoia. Not so much depression anymore, but I was curious on how to go about asking my parents to get me medication for it, it as in my nerves. If they did what would they most likely prescribe me, now I'm referring the doctor as they, so if they did prescribe me something, what would it most likely be?

Have you ever been properly diagnosed by a physician? If not, then you most likely won't be able to get anything. Usually, the medications prescribed could potentially have negative side effects, so remember that as well.
But the most important question here is if you've actually been diagnosed. Otherwise, I doubt anything will be done.

Those pills never helped me, so if you want to go down that route good luck.

You're 13, you WILL NOT get any useful immediate-action Anxiety Medication for 5 or 6 years yet at least. What you're probably looking for is a Benzodiazepine (like Valium or Xanax), but since they are heavily addictive and because you're so young, you won't get anything. If you asked for one, the doctor would probably either Laugh in your face or mark you down on a list of drug-fiends searching for pills.

If you go to a doctor, you will probably be prescribed an SSRI, which is great if you're a depressed 40 year old Housewife, but not if you're paranoid and Anxiety-stricken, as SSRIs take literally months to work.

You need to get a referral to a Psychiatrist before you take any medication for your mental instability, as an incorrect medication could trigger Schizophrenia or Histronic Personality Disorder.

Either way, I feel you. I'm an extreme anxiety patient, but I am also on Benzos, as prescribed by my Psychiatrist. Best and worst thing they ever did. Best because it relieves my anxiety, bad because if you take a Benzo for more than a week, you WILL get addicted, and Withdrawl from Benzodiazepines is literally a living hell, where you spend months, even years with your brain firing uncontrollably. Anxiety will be made much worse, all your emotions will be made more overwhelming. And you will have no relief, unless you feed the addiction.

That's not a path you want to go down unless you have no options. Particularly not when you're only young.

Pretty much what Neverender said. You're only 13. Even if you do get diagnosed, they're not going to prescribe you anything for at least a few years. They'd probably just tell you to see a therapist.

But you don't want to go on anti anxiety meds right now (or later on really). You'll get addicted and like he said, everything will be worse once you stop taking them.
