Abuse?

Would a man 50-something years older than me trying to kiss me on the lips be considered abuse? He never actually raped me, but he did assault me one night and I question now if his intent was abuse and not just a one time thing. I already know(when looking back) that he groomed me for about a year if that information helps any.

Yeah! If he does it physically to you, report him for rape, since that would be considered child rape! But I would tell your parents right now, and tell them what he tried to do and stuff, and then let them handle it, because they will do anything to keep their kid safe!

You were not consenting to being kissed and therefore it would be considered abusive.

I would suggest you tell someone, even if it is a friend or someone older like a family member or even just going straight to the authorities.

I would call it abuse. The fact that you said "looking back, he groomed me for about a year" implies something that I would think to be inappropriate for a fifty something year old man to do to someone of your age. Him assaulting you is considered abuse, and him attempting to kiss you on the lips shows he had "impure" intentions to say the least. I would take it to an authority figure, tell an adult, and even the police if I were you.

Yes i do believe that would be considered abuse. if he assualted you yes its abuse i would suggest you report him your local police station
