Ok, as a journalist I'm greatly offended by the Fox news network. Recently, they began airing a program called the "Half Hour News Hour" in an attempt at comedy. Their attempt at ripping off the Daily Show failed. however. THANK GOD.
In case you missed it, enjoy this wonderful clip!

Oh, and here's John Gibson mocking Jon Stewart's tearful reaction to 9/11:

Seriously, they're biased an unprofessional. Hell, even the Daily Show lampooned Clinton while he was in office! Jeebus, compared to Fox they're reasonably unbiased, which is sort of true seeing as how they make fun of only those who deserve it (democrats included).
What do you guys think about all this ridiculousness?

are you seriously implying there is a non-biased news station? if there is one i will be more surprised than a tv show rip.

I'm not saying that, but I am saying that a station that's slanted so shamelessly is appalling. I mean, sure, it's impossible to escape editorialising some stories, but Fox makes a point of doing that to all of them.

There we go, they're doing their job properly. Preaching to the choir. They exist to get good ratings and make money, not inform you on events in an unbiased manner. This applies to all news stations.

As a journalist, I believe this is the reason I drink so much...Maybe I should make a thread about that...=[

All news casts want publicity. Comedy makes people watch the show. They think they can get higher rating from that. So they rant about each other. It's not going to be perfect.

I like my news to at least be something important in the world around me.
Not news about someone else's news report :/

Yes, because to know more about Russia trying to steal Canadian waters, I'd just have to take a 10 minute walk down there... >_>

No, Bill Gates is all lies. MSNBC is the worst.
And I am having some strange problems with Microsoft Office, the only Microsoft software I sometimes use. Apple iWork is 200% better.
And with news, no one beats FOX News.
