This started after I downloaded some kind of updated video player, some really wierd shit has been going on. I usually go on youtube for at least an hour a day. I went on youtube after downloading the flash player. What I found was different. I just let it go. So let me get onto the point.

There are usually normal ads on youtube about electronics and cars and other stuff like airsoft companies. It all matters on the type of video you're watching.
After I downloaded the player however, I have had at least 7 ads per youtube page. The ads are ALWAYS there. the ads are all dirty too. (I'm talking like porn.) But it doesn't end there. Theres a related video that either says "hot girls in prior lake" or lonely girl that is desperate in prior lake. (I live in Prior Lake, MN)

I, like any other strait teenager, clicked on the video. I got no youtube video. I got a websight saying that I had won a raffle and I need to choose a $1,000 dollar walmart gift card, an I-Pad, or a paid off I-Phone.

For further info, please PM me.

Probably some sort of adware. Use your antivirus to scan and remove this type of virus. I remember getting something like this (when I was of the innocent age of 12) and it turned out to actually be a mix of adware AND spyware, so if that's the case for you, also download Spybot - Search & Destroy and remove the spyware through that.

If you aren't able to remove the virus, run Windows in safe mode (f8 when booting) then launch your antivirus program. If this still fails, attempt to do a System Restore to a time before the program was installed. Or have you simply tried uninstalling the program?

I don't think every other straight teenager would've clicked on it, lots are aware that those sites usually cause problems for your computer. And if it was placed there by adware, it's only going to cause more problems.
