how many of yall kids no how to drive a manual transmision?
what age did you learn to drive a standard?
What type of vehicle and how many speeds did you learn on?
i think it is very important for kids to learn how to drive a standard so i want to know how many of you all can?

My mom unfortunately sold her manual Audi A3 about a month before I got my permit so never driven one. I have a feeling it'd be easier for me than most people though. Current car has a CVT.
I don't think it's that important to learn anymore, CVT is getting better and better and offers the best performance and efficiency at the same time.

I drove a manual for about 6 years before I drove an automatic. I much prefer manual, but the car I wanted was an automatic, so I have been putting up with it, even though it would be fantastic in a manual.

I learned at like 9, I live on a farm so I learned on my dads F150 and my mom has a manual 335i

Ok so in the Uk we have automatics and manual if you pass your test in an automatic you can only drive and automatic pass in a manual you can drive both. I'm 13 so have not passed a test but I can drive both auto and manual its not hard so I learnt at 12 and the manual has a 6 speed box.
