Hey, this may be a really stupid question but bear with me.

So me and this girl have been getting really friendly and when I was drunk a month ago I told her and she said that I'd have to wait (as she'd just broke up with her bf) and told my friend that 'she knows how she feels about me, but has to get over her ex'. Since then we've hung out a few times and kissed, and I think she likes me back and I want to get into a proper relationship with her, but my question is, what do I ask?

Do I ask her if "she wants to go out with me", if "she will be my girlfriend" or on a date or something? (If the latter, what do I ask to make it a proper relationship or will it just automatically happen?) I've never been in a relationship before so am new to this stuff.

Thanks in advanced!

Just have a talk with her. Preferably in person. Just say "I've been thinking and I want to make this official. Do you want to go out with me?." It's really just as simple as that. If she says yes, then it's official. Worst thing she can say is no or not right now. And least you tried. Just be confident to her.

you know what, don't overthink about "labels," as in "proper relationship" etc.

if you've been hanging out and youve been enjoying each other's company--with the kissing and all that--just enjoy it. let things unfold naturally. maybe she's also asking herself the same question, and you rushing her to come up with an answer might break what could be a deal. so what im saying is: enjoy the moments with her, and just cross the bridge when you get there.
