Well, I recently turned 17. And I'm in community college, I graduated early. I met this girl there and she's 22. She's really pretty and I guess she's into me. I asked her out but it's just so awkward because she picks me up for dates and she gets into all the clubs ect. I can go on forever. I'm just wondering, do you think this relationship can actually work? Do you think it's socially not acceptable? My parents don't know about it.

It could be illegal depending on where you're at. You're still a minor, but if you're over the age of consent you're good.
Personally I don't think it's a huge gap. How's the maturity levels? Are you two equal in levels of maturity? It can work out if worked at (:

The relationship can work and clubs/bars etc are not the only thing you can do, you have had some dates and she drives so picks you up - thats cool, take it easy and see how it goes. Maybe as you say your parents don't know - would they expect you to tell them or is this the source of your concern, maybe then you should tell them and get over that bit. Maybe to you want to tell them but hang back again you can say

If it's illegal in your place then you must have the parents consent. Age doesn't matter at all as long as you do understand each other.

It's fine. Many people don't know, but most states in the US have a legal age of consent of 17, so sex should be fine too (depending on what state you live in).

I don't see a problem with it. I dated a 22 year old when I was 16.
In some places the age of consent is 16 with someone within 5 years of them or something like that, I think. But there's really nothing to worry about with the legality. Unless your parents are the type that would press charges on her.
But I think it's pretty socially acceptable.

I don't see a problem. If the two of you like each other, then go ahead. My grandparents are 13 years apart (he was her college professor.)

In many cultures, 17 was the age where you became a man. I don't see anything particularly wrong with it, but don't go too far. Remember that chances are she feels the same way about having a boyfriend who's "only 17."
Take it easy and keep it casual, and you should be fine.
