Hello I am 15 years old and I went to the doctors recentally. He told me that i was in "tanner 3" stage of puberty. I know there is 5 stages and im at 3 which is half way thru but i only have a little pubic hair, no facial hair, i dont fully ejaculate only a little comes out and its clear and doesnt shoot out(can someone tell me why its clear and why thats happening). I dont get how i could be tanner 3. Is the doctor wrong?

My recommendation is to not worry about stages. They're so inaccurate and don't tell you much and basically just confuse you. Your doctor probably gave you that just to give you idea but you have to just take them lightly and don't compare yourself to them because every guy develops through puberty at different times and speeds.

Dont worry about it. I just went to the docter today and that is what led me here. He said tanner 4 for me. I have hair there, my penis isnt that big or thick for that matter. My ejaculation shoots on a good day, somtimes not. Dont worry about it being clear, it was clear for me untill I had substatial amounts.

First of all I wouldn't worry about stages, I think the guy or girl that invented them forgot that everyone is different!
As for your doctor even though he is qualitfied I wouldnt take to note EVERYTHING he said....

He's just comparing you to others he has seen and giving you a general idea of where you are... Of course, where you'll kind of realize that this isn't an effective strategy is the word 'comparing'. There's no point in comparing puberty before 21! Way too stochastic.

listen, unless he's a witch doctor, and you saw an array of shrunken heads spread out across his desk, he's not wrong! Doctors aren't wrong about this stuff, it's pretty elementary. The Tanner scales document pubertal development in boys and girls, and although there are 5 stages, number 3 isn't half way! That's because the changes are grouped based on their occurence with eachother, not by the mathematical call numbers of the stages themselves! What you described sounds like a Tanner 3.

Ghetto-Stages(puberty 101 stages) are useless because they aren't completely accurate. Tanner stages are pretty much useless as well, because there isn't a set course that everybody will go on. Even though you can classify someone as a certain stage there is no way of telling how long a person will stay in any one stage. You can guess, but that's about it.
