Now obviously almost none (if not none) of you have your own car yet, but your parents either allow you to drive one or are providing one until you go to college or something. So what car do you own? What do you like and hate about it?
Oh, and ImCoolBeans congrats on whatever car you think you own, I don't care.
I've got a 2012 Subaru Impreza 2.0i Limited 5 door. Just did the first oil change.
Like: Small, I bet it can take corners pretty well but I'm inclined to not try that, it sounds sexy as fuck when you WOT--for a 4 cylinder--, the interior is really nice for as cheap as it was, alright MPG (supposedly 36 highway, rarely get above 30 driving on highways for an extended period)
Dislike: the CVT is almost as slow as a Prius in 0-60 which is dangerous sometimes, the tires it came with are 100% shit and have bad traction but of course my parents aren't going to pay to change them until I'm running on rims, the controls are ancient and the only bad part of the interior (climate controls, head unit, etc).

Bought my first car with my owe money it is a 1990 Pontiac Trans-AM. Took a 94 cast iron 350 block. Rebuilt it and a new 700r4 transmission and rear differential. It is Pearl white metallic black rims smoked tail lights and so on I get pulled over a lot cause my car look suspicious Like a drug dealers car. Love it, fast looks good but it is really low to the ground so I have to avoid some roads.

The car I drive is the car I personally own.
1991 Ford Explorer XLT
Likes: In pretty decent shape. (Especially since I bought it from a fire department.)
Comfortable to drive.
Four wheel drive.
Rear windshield wiper (SO USEFUL, especially in Idaho winters.
Put in a new transmission
Bought and installed new Kenwood stereo. (factory stereo didn't have cd or cassette player. And the radio signal was horrible.
Hate:
Gas mileage....atrocious.
Manual windows. Not too bad but sometimes it gets irritating.
Shocks are non existent. VERY bouncy.
Back left door only opens on the outside. The child lock is effed up.
The handles on the back doors are screwed in all the way. They are ripped so I can't get them quite in.
Although, for my first car at 15, I don't complain about it (until this thread). As long as the windows roll down, the heater works, I have access to music, and it runs then I am pretty happy.

I have a '95 Toyota Camry. It's cool. I don't really have any dislikes about it.

I have a 2000 Chevy Blazer. It is actually mine. Technically my mom owns it, but she gave it to me and I'm responsible for any repairs as well as insurance for it, and I believe she's getting my name put on it pretty soon. So, it's mine.
Like: Has a brand new radiator, fuel pump, brakes, and tires.
AC works amazingly
Four wheel drive, handle great in the winter
Awesome sound system
Power steering
comfortable
Insurance is cheap since it's not high performance
Dislike:
Mileage is shitty
The cd player skips a lot
The fuel gauge doesn't work
Right now it needs a new hub or something, so I can't drive it very far
Shocks are going to shit
One of the adjustment levers on the passenger side broke, so you have to use pliers to move your seat lol

I get my learners licence (someone with a full licence in the car when you drive) in a couple of weeks, and in Australia you choose between getting an automatic or manual transmission licence (manual transmission covers both auto and manual).
Both of my parents daily drivers are automatics, however my dad has a WRX that is a project car, so the majority of my manual learning will be in that, until I purchase my own car.
Like:
Power
Comfortable Recaro bucket seats
Six speed manual
Good handling
Not my fuel :)
Not my insurance :)
Dislike:
Dad will freak having an inexperienced driver in such a powerful car
Recaros lack visibility
The clutch is an absolute b*tch
Takes 98 octane (will probably end up paying for some petrol)
Insurance will be high for a learner driver
Congrats on having the Impreza, they're a nice little car. I was looking at one for myself (RS sports model with a manual transmission though), but I thought the 2.0 litre would be slow as all hell. Not sure what I'll get now.

Lucky fuck. I almost got an Infiniti G35x (used, but only slightly) and they're fast as hell for its on-paper power, and of course really nice inside.
