Every teenager gets aroused. But I read in a book that God does not want you to get aroused unless you are married. Confusing huh? I don't know if God is real or not now. The bible makes everything look like a sin.
I am so confused.
Sorry if I spelled anything wrong.

The bible was written by men and is full of self-contradictions and inaccuracies. Just because the bible is imperfect doesn't mean there isn't any God. You need to interpret it and take the good lessons rather than forsaking everything because it's a bit confusing. You need to decide for yourself what you believe and what you think God would want you to do. The bible can guide you to some extent, but you need to develop your own sense of right and wrong. If there is no logical reason for something the bible says then you should question it and decide for yourself what the answer is. You have the power to control your own life.

in the bible it doe state that we are not supposed to do many things one of those being to not have "dirty" thoughts but because of the sinful nature passed down through men(and women) since the time of adam and eve we need to try to live this way god does not expect us to do it perfectly because it is truly impossible unless u r jeseus

What I am saying is when you become a teenager you get horny a lot. Why did God make your mind work that way when I read you are not allowed to get horny when you are not married?

well here is your answer (("Isn't God unreasonable to demand sexual purity after giving us sexual drives that seem to overwhelm us at times?"
Our loving God never demands from us what is impossible for us to do. We are so weak within ourselves that it may seem impossible, but He will equip us with His holy power to overcome any sin, if we ask in faith.
Of course, sexual urges in and of themselves are not wicked. They are natural. God created us that way. He desires that we get optimum pleasure out of them by using them the way they were created to be used. However, many desires for physical gratification (whether it be food, sex, etc.) stem from a deeper need that is unfilled deep inside us. Gorging our flesh can never fill a hunger that grows out of our spirit. Only intimacy with God can fill the deepest needs inside of us. No other created thing has that power.
God is no more unreasonable than any caring parent who lovingly disciplines their child. It is only because He knows what is best for us. He sees a mighty potential in each one of us that far supersedes our wildest dreams, and He loves us enough to do all He can to bring it to pass. )) that was a good article though is that what u were talking about in the first plac because i dont believe that is mormon

Apply what I said about the bible to that. They are both imperfect books written by men.

the bible we know today was mostly written by the catholic church, and they want you to be miserable all the time i.e. Plagues, floods, no arrousal..lol

Well, all I learned from that is not to cheat on anybody, and that being "lustful" (trying to get it all the time) is bad. No where does it say "Masturbating is bad and should not be done" It just says that we should not do that all the time, or on purpose. Getting aroused sometimes isnt your fault, just hormones. So I think masturbation is A-OK.
The Bible was written by John and God told him what to write. It is not imperfect. It is written correctly, but the translations might just be off a little.

I am atheist because religion is saying nothing is right.
Example time: 600 years ago a man stood in a legal court and said "It is impossible for the Earth to revolve around the sun because it is not stated in the Bible. Thus, any such mention is the work of the devil.
