Went for kiss, she wanted hug

Went on our first proper date together, my dad gave her a lift home, obvs I came to and i got out with her (had been thinking i should kiss her at some point all day as we've had lots of unofficial dates with other people around) so i thought this was our last chance today...guess i wasn't thinking properly or something cos she suddenly turned her head and i ended kinda kissing the side or her head...feel like such a bloody idiot, just dont know how to start it and whens the right moment :/ ahhh your opinions would be greatly appreciated :)

Don't over think it. I think she just felt it might be awkward cause your dad was right there. If she's still talking to you and interested, ask her out again. When the right moment comes kiss her during the date. Preferably while you guys are alone...since she seems shy about pda. If the right moment doesn't come then don't force it. There'll be plenty more chances. Just make sure she know you like her...I doubt she's evil lol

Yeah if she didnt pull away instantly after you kissed her ear then she either didnt know it happened or will probably kiss you on the next date. Just be ready, if you go in for a hug and she goes in for a kiss shes going to be REALLY confused
