I can side with someguy. I Belive in God alot but im not really religious. People are saying it a form of lust so i have doubts about it. I go to a private Catholic school, and during sex ed in year seven and eight, we were led to believe that masturbation was wrong and sinful and God doesn't approve of it. :/ Due to that, that's pretty much screwed me up a lot, and is kinda the reason I've only ever touched myself twice in my life and I'm almost 17. :/

No. I think it is a healthy act that damages no one. Some folks believe that it is wrong because it is "greedy" and is spilling your own seed. But it is healthy and I don't always find it moral to bring a child into the world. It may have served to spread religions well, but now, having a kid at 17 just isn't a good idea.

ok, i'm a christian and i masturbate. the only way i can think of that might make masturbation wrong is if when you do it, you do it to think you are having sex with someone who you are not committed to (if that makes sense). but if you just masturbate for no other reason then to pleasure yourself, as most people do, then i can't see anything wrong with that.

For me, I am religious (But I'm not a "biblebeater"), And I was born a Missouri Synod Lutheran (Pretty much Catholic, but protestant :D), but about 6 years ago We became Methodist (Biggggggg difference, a lot more relaxed, more of an open arms, open doors, and open hearts sort of thing). But anyways, I used to think it was a bit evil too, but after coming here and also reading up on it pretty much changed my mind about it. Besides, if you haven't been struck down by lightning, or any other unexplained occurrence, you should be fine :D
