Alright so some background first. I was diagnosed with a rare nerve/joint pain condition, RND (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reflex_neurovascular_dystrophy). Kinda similar in a way to um. Fibromyalgia and Rheumatoid Arthritis, that kind of category of that means anything. Basically it means that I fell pain when I shouldn't. It's always been in my upper body, never had problems with my lower body.

So now that that's said and done, I've been having pain in my knees for a few weeks now. Mostly my left one, but occasionally the right one. I don't normally feel it, except when I exercise or do a lot of walking or movement (such as when we were in disney/orlando for 10 days last week). So I guess I'm wondering at what point to I see a doctor to see if it's actually something or if it's just a flareup?

The pain's kinda weird, I'm not good at describing pain but I guess it's kinda like it's being pushed in a little and then pushed out a little? Not really sure. I know no one here's familiar with this situation but any advice would be great. :)

Edit; And also, at what point would it be a good idea to stop exercising because of it?

I know that you're an over-exerciser, so I would say that you have an injury from the exercising, especially if you are on a treadmill or running outside. Try doing some cardio that puts lower stress on your legs, such as kettlebell swings (they are pretty good at getting your heart rate up. You should stop at the point where you feel joint pain, as opposed to muscle pain or a stitch.

Hope you feel better, Val!
