My sleeping pattern's messed up. Like, I'd go to sleep normally (a little late but still) for two days. Then I won't be able to sleep for roughly three days in a row. I dunno why its happening, it just is. Any suggestions or remedies, cause its kinda annoying me right now. Thanks beforehand guys (:

a few suggestions
get an eyeshade, they really help,
i suggest a spongebob themed one imported from singapore(dont ask questions just trust me)
on the nights you can sleep make sure you get enough of it, its different for different folks so figure out what works for you. and i dont mean how much you can survive on without crashing, i mean fully rested, which is usually around 8-9 this age.
and go to bed at a good time dont stay up late even if you can still get plenty of sleep that way.
when you lie down to sleep dont have tv or music on and clear your mind
try some healing teas, my personal favourite is yogi tea, which has teas to help with sleeping and relaxation and they really work.

If you find you are on the computer until late at night, download a program called F.lux
It alters the brightness settings on your screen as it gets later at night so it gradually makes you more sleepy as the light gets dimmer. Any computer or TV screens affects your circadian rythms which can result in not sleeping or restless sleep

My Mum swears by a bedtime routine like a mug of warm milk and a snack for me and a chill out time. I train heaps gym and swim and I soak in the bath with a herbal lavender Radox bubble thing works a treat. Especially if its before a comp when I get a bit wired up. If you spend heaps of time on pc that can keep you awake as well.

newbie here so will add you on

If you are having trouble sleeping then you need to stop going on the computer and watching TV a while before bed. An unseeable type of light (called blue light) is emitted from them and it registers in your brain and prolongs the release of hormones which help you get to sleep. Not only do they do that, but they will keep your mind going when you should try to be totally relaxed and not thinking about much.

Also try to go to bed around the same time every night and try to get about the same amount of sleep per night. Keeping a good, healthy schedule keeps your body in a type of groove so it will begin to prepare itself for bed around the same time every night. I would say that this is the most important part of sleep. Keeping a tight schedule really makes the difference.

It may be insomnia, but only a doctor can diagnose. I suggest not eating sugary things after 7-8pm and before you go bed have a hot drink and/or banana or something with natural sugars in.

That's what I was gonna say. You can get it at just about any drug store and it's pretty cheap. It's works pretty well.
