This is really sad I let it get this far. My parents are going, no scratch that, are miles past the roof. I have let my grades slip. I have lost my old friends for these new"friends"....or idiots, which i am one of. I have a weed problem. Have for a year now. There is no time I go to school not high. I skip class a lot. I just need a way or ways to stop this. I hate it. That gum or fake smoke crap doesn't work, so I need an alternative to this.

Please help.

There is no easy way to stop dear
My way of quitting was sudden,I threw away everything I had of drugs, not a pleasant experience, but it was worth it
As you only do weed it's a bit different for you as you won't go through all the shit
Easier explained, stop sudden and brutal, doing it smoothly won't bring you anywhere(it sounds like it hasn't),good luck with that, and sorry I can't help any more than this,it's hard to explain and talk about for me

I see what you mean, but Ihave tried that a bit in the past, and I can't really control myself. I get intolerable to the point where I almost got thrown out of my own house........:(

"Weed" problem.

lol. I smoke weed every day and still I manage ~90 or so averages. It's not fucking heroin, there's nothing in weed to get you "hooked" or to stop you from having control over yourself and achieving goals.

All you need to do is to grow up and not smoke for a few days. Withdrawl won't kill you, but You'll probably feel like shit for the first 48 hours or so as your body adjusts back to normal homeostasis, after that you feel pretty good.

Tolerance breaks suck mostly because you realize how boring it is when you aren't high.

I smoke weed every day, go to school high, etc....

Still get 90% in a majority of my classes, and failed nothing... so I'm sure you can stop.

Just stop, it shouldn't be very hard. Plus Weed is pointless to use anyways just live life normal without trying to make it better by smoking.

You evidently have never smoked in your life, then.

You can't really comprehend how good it makes you feel. Really good. Better than your body can do naturally, but without destroying your Neurotransmitter receptors like prescription anti-depressants or the very dangerous SSRIs that Doctors prescribe to teenagers like candy do.

"Live life normal" might be good in your rich suburban house, but for a lot of people, "Live life normal" is the equivalent of Suicidal thoughts, sadness, chronic depression and anger. It's the part where you make it better by smoking that really gets you through the day and gives you the morale you need to keep up your commitments.

Switching completely to marijuana worked for some friends of mine, since they got addicted to smoking weed mixed with tobacco, and weed alone is not addicting, only mentally, but with non smoker friends getting rid of weed should be easy.
(although i wouldn't know why you would want to quit the herb)

The best way is to go to AA meetings, (see any that specialize for teens). That will be a way to get out, since you are going to be in the 12 step program!
