Can anyone help me please.
I have a Dell Diamension PC - like a lot of my stuff it was rescued - (with the permission of the owner) from trash. But it does not have a hard drive.
Got monitor mouse keyboard and cables.
Really need a low cost solution to this but some options would be good.

Check to see if it's IDE or SATA first. It'll most likely be SATA, but there are still quite a few IDE-based systems floating around.
Then, any 3.5" hard driving using that connection type will work. Just head down to your local electronics store and pick up a drive that meets your budget. Or shop online for something that meets your budget. Your choice.
