It's all in the approach. Find a time when they're most relaxed and go up to them and say, "Mom, dad, I need to talk to you guys about something." They'll immediately realize it's important and a difficult topic. And remember there's absolutely nothing wrong with crying, especially in front of your parents. They should be there to support you more than anyone else in the world.

Ask them to schedule an appointment with a psychologist. You just can't avoid talking to your parents about this one.

And I hate crying in front of my parents. Makes me feel icky... But if you don't mind, then go ahead.
