Should I shave?

I kind of want to shave, but I've heard a lot of bad things about it! What are the pros and cons about shaving your pubes? Any techniques that could help?

It's no big deal really. I personally shave, as I think it feels and looks better. Some people trim, which is cool too.

If you're gonna shave, just remember not to rush it, just take your time and use smooth strokes. Also, a lot of people shave against the grain (directon the hair grows in), which makes an uneven cut, which is why they complain of itching when it grows back. So shave with the grain first, then against if you want to. Also, don't do it dry, always use a good shaving cream or at least water. Pat dry, don't rub. Rubbing will irritate it. Put a little lotion on it when you're done, and you should be fine.

Oh yeah, and it's just hair. If you don't like it shaved you can always just let it grow back.

I have been shaving my pubes for akmrt 2yrs now ever since i saw my older bros smooth pubes he told me always do it the shower with a soap gel if it is ur first X trim w shaver or scissors it sounds weird but use a female razor they are madb for more delicate areas and the handle is longer then shave down and then upwards till u feel smooth use a skin lotion and do a few Xs that should help with bumps and irratatinn do it often thf con is u must keep up with it the pro is if u get head no pube in givers mouth wakfs dick look bigger and it feels sexy when its smoth

You should atleast try it, if you don't like it, it will grow back.

i do just cuz i think it looks/feels better than having a bush down there. first time doing it it will prob itch afterwards. but tht goes away after not too long.

Pros are that some think it looks better, and its easier to keep clean
Some cons are that it itches until you get used to it. It can take a while to grow back for some.

Advice: If you choose to do it, apply a moisturizer a few times each day until it grows back, its doing to help the itching slightly.

Thats up to you! It's your body, do what you want with it! If you want to shave down there, then go for it! It is all personal preference, some will say don't others will say do it. Do you what you want.

As for the questions, I have shaven down there, I prefer it just because Im not a big fan of having a lot of pubic hair, but thats just me!

Pros: Clean, some girls prefer it ( not all ).
Cons: Can cause irritation ( if you don't do it right ), If you like it gotta shave every so often.

Techniques: As everyone else has said go with the grain of hair when you first start, use a new or gently used blade ( clean cut ), don't shave dry ( ouch ) and when your done put a little lotion around the area.

if ur nervous about it than just use hair revmoval cream or spray its easier and no cuts or bumps , ive used it and had no reaction although people have said u can get red and irratated and my hair does not even show up even after a week of applying it
