Make a wound heal

How can I make my wounds/cuts heal faster? Like is there something I can rub on it? Please I'm so fucke up otherwise. I cut the word fat on my upper thigh, and well I'm seeing my boyfriend in a few days.. It needs to be gone

There's not a lot you can do i'm afraid, keep putting anti septic on it, to keep away infection. I'm sorry, but cuts take weeks to heal and months to fade. Yours won't fade in only a few days.

And whilst you may then consider using make up etc to cover it I wouldn't recommend that either it'll only take longer to heal.

Well will he definitely see it? I'm not sure where you are in your relationship.. Basically i'm saying if you wear clothing that will cover it, will your boyfriend still end up seeing it?

There really isnt a way. I'm assuming you are going to be naked or else he wouldnt see anything on your upper thigh. So tell him you sick and dont wanna do anything sexual idk but you should tell him

There is no way to make a cut heal completely in just a few days. However you can help the healing process by keeping it clean and dry. Deep wounds should either be sutured or held closed with a steri-strip if it doesn't need stitches and kept covered with a clean bandage. Once the wound has healed over, massage it with Vitamin E oil or a more commercial brand such as Bio Oil twice a day to reduce scarring.

Other than that, the only thing I can reccomend is - like other people have said - keep it covered with clothing.

It won't have faded in a few days unless its extremely shallow. Of course its to to you but I really would discourage putting make up on it, I've done that before and swear it scared worse.

Like everyone else said, there is nothing you can do to make it heal in a couple of days. this is from my girlfriends dad - who is a doctor, wounds heal faster if you keep them moist. so keep it covered, don't leave it open to the air. don't put anything on it that will dry it out. putting make up on it is probably a really bad idea. but i'm no expert on anything to do with make up. I have these dressings, for burns, but maybe they would be ok for cuts - they're called Jelonet. i think it does help heal them faster, but not in anything like a couple of days.

I haven't told my girlfriend yet. i understand why you don't want to tell your boyfriend. but if it was the other way round, you'd probably want to know if he was self harming?
