So, i'm joining a gym (not to loose weight but to get fit) and the only "fat" thing i want to figure out is what excersizes i could do to loose weight or minimize the gigglyness of my upper thighs ( i'msure all the girls out there know what i'm talking about)
any one got any advice?

Well to loose whieght you would want to do cardliovascular excersise like running, swimming or cycling I would recomend using the running machine to build your fitness and the cycling machine to tone your legs :D
By the way from your picture you don't look like you need to loose any wait...

Don't you think I'm sexy? :P
Well I'm pretty sure what Sam said is right. Running is the best thing you can do to lose the weight, then tone it with the other excersize.

Oh yeah If you want to slighty tone your stomache i would strongly recomend doing 25 pushups a night. Just that can make an unbeliveable difference when combined with the cardiovascular I mentioned before.
BTW it ussually takes about 2-4 weeks before you start noticing the difference...

For toning your thighs, my aunt showed me something from back in her cheerleading days. Sit on the ground with your legs in a V, as if you were about to do toe-touches. Lift your legs of the ground, staying straight, without supporting yourself with you hands. Keep your back straight, too. You'll probably only be able to lift them a few inches. Lift for two counts, hold for five, and lower for two. Remember that control when you lower them is key as well- that builds a lot of muscle.

Aerobics are going to help you lose weight all over your body -- not just in one particular place. If you want to tone your thighs, use the machines that you push together with your thighs, the machine you push apart with what will feel like your asscheeks (lol), and the quads extender. Sorry, I used to go to the YMCA, but I never learned the proper names for all those machines. So, work your quads, gluts, inner thighs, and your hamstrings if you want.
