I don't know where to go for help. I'm scared to go to my mom.. I don't know how to tell her or what she'll think. She'll mostlikely just tell me that she can't handle it. I cut. Alot.Nobody has noticed my cuts because they're on my thighs and I wear jeans. & I have an eating disorder. I have bulimia, and my throat burns alot, but I can't stop. & Everyday I think about killing myself and I have mental problems that nobody knows about. Please help me. :( I know I need help, but I don't know where to go.

(I don't know if I put this in the wrong place or not.. I didn't know if it should've gone in self harm or eating disorder. And I don't know if it's inappropriate or not. If it's not, sorry.)

Go to a counselor. Go to your local hospital and ask to see a counselor or psychotherapist. You can get mediation for your depression and get over you addiction to cutting.
I'm 19, addicted to cutting also, but I've been clean for 2 months.

As someone who also refuses to inform their parents yet (because I think their disappointment and pain would be worse than dealing with everything in my head), I can relate to what you are going through. While it is best if you can tell your parents (because I am sure your mother will try and be there for you), if you can tell another adult you trust of a counselor/doctor (they are not allowed to tell on you, in theory, unless they feel you are a danger to your life I believe)they can assist you in finding help until you are ready to tell your mother. Personally, I plan on utilizing my university's free and confidential mental health services this fall to try and get help. There are a lot of options out there even if you are not ready to tell your parents quite yet. I wish you the best of luck, and I'm usually around to talk to so you can PM me if you ever need someone to talk to :)

my advice is talk to a friend or someone who u trust thats what helps me, talk to a teacher or a school counsellor. just talk to some one u trust and they will help u, if not start to write about things then when u feel safe enough to tell someone u dont have to tell them per say you can just show them what u have written. or u can write a letter to some and u dont have to be there when they read it

Tell your mom. Shell be there fore you. It's okay. If you need help on not cutting. Heard of something called the butterfly method. You draw a butterfly with sharpie on your favorite place to cut and write the people's names whOm you most care for in the wings. Then you'll think of all people who you'll hurt it you do cut. But that's a theory that works sometime. But Tell your mom or go to a councilor.

Don't be afraid to tell your mother. You are experiencing a rough time in your life but that doesn't mean there is anything wrong with you as a person, so your mother should understand. You are a human being and we deal with things in our own unique way. Unfortunately, cutting and bulimia are both unhealthy and can have a severe impact on your life.
