So I have a Kik Messenger and someone keeps trying to contact me. Is there a way I can trace that Kik Messenger or find out where that person lives? Can the authorities trace a Kik Messenger? What are ways that person might be able to not get their account traced?

This one person keeps trying to contact me and it's kinda freaking me out :/

No. That would probably be illegal, finding out someone's location without their knowledge through chat software. If someone is really bothering you, just block them. And contact the kik support team as well, send a report with the name and the conversations, and they will do the rest. But then again, does it really matter, considering you could make an account in about a minute?

Would it be possible for someone to trace my account? How do I report them? How can I avoid them from tracing mine, like what should I do so that it's not possible for them to trace mine?

Unless the guy is really doing something disturbing the best thing you can do is block him.

On almost every single chat/IM service, there is a "block" feature. I thought it was redundant to say "use it", but apparently not.

And what would you do once you find their address? Shoot their windows in?

Can the authorities trace a Kik Messenger?
Yes.

What are ways that person might be able to not get their account traced?
Register everything with fake info, not use their own devices(and ensure nobody else knows that), and never use access it from home.

Not really. Well, it might violate the EULA, but the makers of Kik can find it out if they wish. You agreed to the TOS by signing up, after all.

disturbing as in threaten?

Threaten would fall under disturbing, yes. Tbh if you've went through all this and haven't blocked him I'd be concerned.

I had to find out how to block, I barely used it so I looked it up and yes I have blocked that person.

That's good then. As long as he's just sticking to the one account then that should be the problem sorted. He could very easily make another account though, if he's really that irritating, I haven't used it in a while but I think I remember that it only takes a few seconds to make an account.
