If I post something and someone replies to it, how will I know?

Check up on your threads and you'll see the responses. You can go to your profile and hit "Statistics" and then click "View all threads started by this user" and that will show threads which you recently have started.

You can also subscribe to a thread and then check up on it by clicking the User CP (user control panel) and it will list your subscribed threads on the first page that comes up when you click into it.
