I don't mean how to get a six pack - I've already started a thread on that. I'm just wondering what the best way is to improve you fitness level. I'm on holiday and have been lazing about loads lately. I only really play tennis (although I play a reasonable amount), which isn't really very aerobic, and after not playing for a week, and not having any school due to summer, I found I was even getting quite out of breath doing that, which is pretty unusual for me and also rather bad. So how should I get my fitness level up? I HATE running. Any other suggestions?

Well if you are lazy, how bout taking a look at your diet! If you aren't eating a healthy diet, and you tend to be lazy, you'll only get worse! But if you eat a nice healthy diet and you tend to be lazy, you aren't a whole lot healthy, but much healthier than eating junk food. And if you want to get fit physically in training, I'm sorry but a good cardio workout is part of the plan sir! If you don't like running, how bout using a bike? Or swimming? And also hit the gym, and do some weight training there with the equipment they have! And if you can't afford the gym, that's alright, because you can do many other stuff like, pushups, crunches, mountain bikes, ect.

Swimming is really good exercise. It builds muscle and cardiovascular endurance.

Folcus on cardiovascular (includes running) and your diet. then you can target certain muscles with workout plans. i reccomend p90x. its a 90 day thing that gets u doing something different all day. also u can drink protein shakes to help build muscles before your workout
